Collateralized Loan Fund will generate yield through providing overcollateralized loans in USD or USD denominated stablecoin (USDC, USDT) to crypto market participants, secured against liquid crypto collaterals like BTC and ETH.
Matrixport Frontier Fund – Collateralized Loan Fund’s loans will be fully collateralized and senior-secured with BTC and ETH as collateral at 150-165% of loan value (60-65% LTV). Real-time risk management and auto-liquidation is set at 80-85% LTV to ensure full principal protection for investors.
Since 2019, USD 3.5 billion loans and over 20,000 contracts executed by Matrixport with loans and 1st lien collateral held within a standalone SPV to protect investors. The Collaterals are kept in a wallet at the custodian.
